My Fellow Democrats,

I welcome you to the Inaugural Shelby County Democratic Party Chairman's Official Kennedy Day Dinner After Party.  We are proud of the fact that the Shelby County Democratic Party is the largest Democratic Party in the State of Tennessee.  With this in mind, we have a responsibility to proudly uphold and promote the Democratic Party's values and mission, not only for Shelby County, but also for the entire state. 

I want to personally thank everyone who has assisted or contributed in any way in any capacity to SCDP this year .  I also thank those individuals who are working dilligently in presenting and hosting our Kennedy Day Dinner as well as the Chairman's After Party. 

As we approach the May primaries and August general elections, let's keep in mind that the true purpose of the SCDP is to elect Democrats to Office and to hold them accountable once they are elected.  If we want to continue to effect positive change in this and other communities,we must continue to work hard to elect Democrats to office.
